Sander van Otterdijk (He/him)

Hello, I'm Sander, a PhD student in the lab, specializing in fluorescent microscopy, Fluorescent in-situ Hybridization (FISH), and fungi. My research centres on investigating sexual reproduction within Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi, with a focus on the model organism Rhizophagus irregularis. Using DNA and RNA imaging alongside microfluidics, I'm eager to unveil new insights into the captivating biology of mycorrhizal fungi. My journey as a researcher is driven by excitement and curiosity to advance our understanding of these complex organisms. I'm thrilled to be part of this team and contribute to our amazing projects in AMF research.
