Hi I am Rachael. I am a PhD candidate focusing on the intracellular dynamics of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal mycelia. I am investigating the evolutionary significance of nuclear dynamics between interacting mycelia and the effects on mycelial fitness. Additionally, my research involves the use of fluorescence microscopy techniques to explore unknown aspects of hyphal structure and the mechanisms underlying the transport of resources and cellular components.
